Dave has over 37 years’ experience in the banking industry, having joined Lloyds Banking Group in 1988, and has since held various client relationship management and senior leadership roles within the group.

Dave was appointed as a Regional Director for SME Banking back in 2011 and currently leads the Midlands, Wales & Northwest teams. He has also led the bank’s support to the Manufacturing sector nationally across the Business and Commercial Banking division for over a decade.

He sits on several high-profile external committees and advisory boards alongside government & industry, supporting manufacturing & engineering initiatives. He is proud to sit on the MTC Training Board and holds lead accountability for the groups £18.5m sponsorship of the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centres at the MTC in Coventry, Liverpool, Oxford & Newcastle which will support the training & development of more than 6500 apprentices, graduates & engineers by 2030.

Dave also enjoys mentoring several small businesses and acts as a strategic advisor to an SME business that focusses on software development.

Outside of work he enjoys time with his 4 grandchildren and is also a keen mountaineer and wildlife photographer.
