Ben Wilson is Managing Director of MPM, a UK-based, family-owned manufacturer specialising in bespoke GRP and composite production and supply. Having grown up within the business, Ben has been instrumental in guiding MPM to become an industry leader through sustained growth while maintaining the values, craftsmanship, and long-term thinking that underpin a successful manufacturing business.

Ben is actively involved in influencing the future of manufacturing skills at both a regional and national level. He is a Board Member of Composites UK, where he contributes to strategic discussions around skills development, workforce planning, and the long-term sustainability of the composites sector. Locally, MPM has a strong and ongoing involvement with the Leeds Manufacturing Festival, working closely with schools, colleges, universities, and training providers to improve engagement between education and industry and to promote manufacturing as a modern, viable career choice.
